Lavender Weaving Workshop

Come join us to learn the craft of lavender weaving! We will create small pieces in the morning with fresh lavender while learning to work with lavender stems. In the afternoon participants will learn how to make larger pieces: Welsh House Blessings and Mordifords, or lavender hearts. No experience is necessary and you will leave with finished pieces that make wonderful gifts for all occasions.

What to Bring:
Clippers
Sharp Scissors
Heavy weight: sadiron is perfect, or brick wrapped in paper, or find rocks on the land
Cotton crochet thread of your choice for tying off weavings
Large cardboard folder for carrying your weavings home

Absolutely! No prior experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment!

Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific needs, please reach out so we can accommodate.

Refreshments and/or snack will be provided. We recommend bringing a water bottle and your own lunch. If you'd like to grab something before or after class, there are cafes and restaurants in Conway and Mount Vernon, about 15 minutes away, including the infamous Skagit Valley Co-op!

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the workshop, minus fees + taxes, which are nonrefundable. After that, refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
